Dr. Moawiya holds a PhD in nutrition and food technology in the fields of food safety, functional food, and product development.
Dr. Moawiya is an Associate professor in Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU), Jordan.
He published more than 45 articles in scientific and peer reviewed international journals in the fields of food safety, food microbiology, product development, shelf life extension, dairy technology, functional foods & probiotics, food biotechnology, phenolic compounds, Antioxidants, Antimicrobials, functional peptides and nutritional assessment. Dr. Moawiya is a member in different local and international scientific societies of food.
