Mr. Kamran Nadeem is a food scientist and technologist qualified in the United States, with over 25 years of professional experience in the private sector of food and allied industries in Pakistan. He has served as a consultant for numerous projects in Pakistan, including those related to food processing and safety. Mr. Nadeem has contributed his expertise to projects such as those by CBI-Netherlands for Pakistan and the setting up of Pakistan’s first E-Beam plant as a USAID consultant. As a research scientist, he has a keen interest in applied E-Beam irradiation technology for food safety and security, aimed at preventing and reducing post-harvest losses of food. He is also involved in research projects such as agro crop seed mutation for crop resilience, high yield, resistance to pests and climatic variations, as well as aflatoxin control in spices and the development of hydrogel masks using domestic ingredients through E-Beam treatment.
